I’m the Co-founder & CTO at Appticles.com, a SaaS platform for creating, distributing and monetizing mobile & tablet HTML5 applications for bloggers, publishers and other content creators.
Before that, I have owned an outsourcing company together with two university colleagues. Appticles is the second company we founded. After we have raised a seed round for Appticles at the beginning of 2014, we have exited from the outsourcing company and focused only on our startup.
It would be an understating to say I “like” programming. Life is a series of choices and programming was my choice. I imagine that those people who say that programming is tedious haven’t had a chance to really try it out :).
As a startup founder, I believe I have the duty, but also the privilege, to understand the business side as well. The hardest thing I ever did was my first presentation on stage at Girls in Tech, Paris, 2012, but my effort paid off when I was rewarded with the second prize for the competition. Maybe a day will come when I will be able to present on stage without being nervous, but I’m not there yet :).
I’m an avid reader and I have been all my life. Recently I have discovered my passion for writing, although it’s sometimes hard to be inspired when you’re caught between lines of code.
If I had a motto, it would be as follows: success is not random, but the result of a lot of hard work, an ounce of talent and some good luck :).
